Our trip to Santa Barbara was a success, sort of! Helga's revision surgery went well but so far the results are not too good. We are hopeful that of the eight programs set in her pain management device we will find one that does the trick. If not, we will be working with a technician in the Brookings area to make further adjustments.
We enjoyed our time in Santa Barbara with friends and former neighbors, eating too much and not exercising as much as usual. Back to the routine and hopefully fitting into the belt at the right spot! It was good getting together with my men's small group again and looking forward to seeing Art in Brookings on July 4.
On our way home we stopped to see son Nick and the gang for three days. We stayed at the Elks Club in Fresno (a pretty nice area and setting) which has 10 RV spots with water and electric (30 amp only - glad it wasn't above 100!) We had a good time, but, again eating too much and not exercising enough! Zoe will be visiting us for a week in Brookings in July with Nick, Judy and maybe George and Chris following her up the next week.
We then stopped in Sacramento for a couple of days, staying at the KOA in West Sacramento. Besides checking IKEA mostly for home office furniture we got together with friends Claudia, Bob and Randy which was great.
After that we stayed a couple of nights in Phoenix, OR just south of Medford. Did our Costco run, Lowe's, tried to look at Allegro Bus motor homes (none in at the moment) in Grants Pass while Helga checked out the craft store, had a great lunch at Greenleaf Restaurant in Ashland, sitting outside along the waterway, reminded us of the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Still eating too much, you might notice!
Now we are back home in Brookings, enjoying our surroundings, our new friends and neighbors and being about the business of settling in.

Home sweet home?
Looking at an Allegra??
Yes, it is taking us awhile to get back into the "at home" groove.
Take care.
