This post should have been a couple of weeks ago but anyway to just catch up we returned home on December 2 after our trip South. We spent Thanksgiving week in Clovis/Fresno with Nick, Judy, George, Chris and Zoe. Judy's sister Mary and brother-in-law Chuck arrived on Thanksgiving Day with Zoe's new puppy, Waffles, over which everybody went ga-ga.
We were going to home by way of Grant's Pass up I-5 but the driver decided he was a wimp about going through the Siskiyou's and we didn't have any chains, and certainly didn't want to use any, so we headed over to the coast and came up US 101. We stopped in Eureka for a Costco run which is a necessity since we don't have a lot of choices in Brookings.
As you can see in the "snow" post winter has arrived in the Northwest. We plan on seeing what it is like until mid January when we hope to head south for a couple of months.
