We left Brookings around 10am this morning. It was a little wet overnight and we had a few drops driving South on US101. Arrived in Fortuna at the Riverwalk RV Park and although we've stayed here before had to negotiate parking dBus since it is a couple of feet longer plus the wheel base is much longer. Nice park but narrow pads make figuring out where your slides are compared to the pedestal and post a challenge along with a dip at the front end.
Had a great, late lunch at the Eel River Brewery. After a couple of tasters I settled on their Organic Amber, so smooth. The Organic IPA was great too! The Classic French Dip made with thinly sliced Tri-tip was excellent, accompanied by a crisp green salad.
After lunch a trip in real stormy weather to Bear River Casino for Helga, with a cup of coffee, a caramel sundae that I didn't need, and writing this post on my iPad. Then a Costco run into Eureka before returning to dBus.
