After Eureka, we drove south on US101 and spent a night in Santa Rosa. Rosso Pizzeria and Wine Bar provided a wonderful afternoon meal that reminded us of our trip to Italy. From there we drove through the Bay area and made it to San Simeon State Park, north of Cambria where we met up with our Santa Barbara County RVing friends. We had a great weekend with friends, great weather, good food, including a walk into town along the beach.
On Monday we arrived in Santa Barbara enjoying 80 degree beautiful weather as we pulled into the Elks Club RV Park. We've been taking care of doctor stuff and visiting with old friends in between. Feels good to be here with friends but still don't really miss Santa Barbara itself.
