As we relax at our site in Emerald Desert RV Resort it doesn't seem like we are in the desert with all the greenery and water. We've been having good weather although we hit a short cold spell with one day having a high of 55. What was significant about that was Brookings had a high of 70 that day which had us asking, we are down here, why?
Besides relaxing, reading, etc. we are catching up with friends, enjoying the activities at the park, meeting new people, shopping, eating, yes, let's not forget eating! Places like Bouchee, Tooties BBQ, Fishermans Market & Seafood, Tony Roma's, Louisa's Pantry and Back Street Bistro are worth return trips.
We are scheduled to be here another week or so and then will start heading north, very slowly!
