Getting Hitch Itch!

We are still in Palm Desert. Helga's physical therapy has been going well as she is slowly making progress. The weather has been pretty good overall, just a few hot days as well as several windy ones.  But, we are getting antsy and ready to move on!

We are scheduled to be here two more weeks and will leave Sunday, May 8, if everything stays on track.  We haven't been doing much other than eating out often, going to a movie now and then, having some friends drop by to visit and watching our neighborhood empty out.  Emerald Desert now has a couple hundred sites and up the beginning of April was mostly full.  Now it is quite empty with a rig parked here and there.

We lost a dear friend down here a couple of weeks ago.  Elmer "Critch" Critchlow was a great guy.  We miss him!
