We arrived here, Blackwell Island RV Park in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Sunday, May 26. We planned to stay a week but the deer meeting and medical issues have stretched that out a bit. We now are scheduled to hit the road to Polson, Montana on Flathead Lake this Friday, June 21. We have mixed feelings about wanting to "hit the road" and liking it here but Hitch Itch is winning out. We should be clear of medical followups today and, talking about hitches, the only "hitch" in our plans is that the car is ready except for the tow bar base plate which was back-ordered from Roadmaster. That needs to get here, be installed and give us enough time to test out everything for a day or two before we depart.
We've been enjoying our stay here, including finding new places to eat, a trip to the Northern Quest Casino & Hotel west of Spokane, Washington for lunch and a chance for Helga to check out the slots. She's starting to be able to walk some now after having to stay off her feet for awhile until the swelling subsided.

The park, which was pretty empty our first few weeks started filling up last week and will continue to be full for the rest of the summer. Last weekend Cars d'Alene was the draw and this weekend is the Ironman competition which brings people from all over.
