We had a great weekend with our Santa Barbara County friends. The January weather was spectacular. Sunny days and clear and cold starlit nights.On Saturday several of us walked the beach from San Simeon State Beach Park to the west end of Cambria. The tide was out so we had an easy, sandy walk.
We had a nice lunch at the West End Grill and the waitress said we were the nicest large group she had ever served (14 of us.) We must have been tired!

Just catching up on your blog. Elwyn and I are just a bit jealous...but Alaska is calling us for next year. I think we'll be going for sure. I wrote another comment, but had to create an identity, which I can see is garbled. Anyway, have fun and we miss Helga and you.
