We've been in Surprise, AZ at Happy Trails Resort for three and a half weeks. It has been an interesting time here in the desert. We've met many new people and made some new friends, spent some time with cousin Marilyn and her husband Paul who have a winter home in Arizona City, found many new places to eat, new places for Helga to shop (not much of that in Brookings,) new places to play and worship, new places to Nordic walk, enjoyed many warm sunshiny days, and hope to catch a spring training game before we leave.
Staying here a month is not the way we are used to traveling in our motor home. We normally stay anywhere from one or two days to two weeks at one time. This is really a comfortable place and we will have to decide if we want to do this again next year or travel more and see more places.
