Long Beach Peninsula

After three days in Florence we headed up the 101 over the Columbia River on the Astoria-Megler Bridge to Long Beach, Washington which is on the Long Beach Peninsula.  This is the first time we've been here although we've been on the Oregon side of the Columbia many times.  The first few days here were cold, raining and windy.  Checking the weather at home in Brookings showed that it was in the 70's there!  But, that can change and the forecast for next week looks like there will be a flip flop with it being warmer up here and colder in Brookings!
"Camping" at Anderson's On the Ocean RV Park

We've been finding some good places to eat (surprise!) and walking on the beach besides checking out interesting places to shop (for Helga!)

Brookings weather has been in the 80's, suppose that is too warm for you! 90's at my house, too bad you missed it.
